The Business
Thomas was working for another local window cleaning company in Boise when he realized he wanted to build something of his own. Quality over quantity — that was the vision. He partnered with Joe, a Boise State grad who'd been working in insurance and loved the customer-facing side of business.
Together they started Tree City Window Cleaners with a clear idea: eco-friendly, locally owned, professional service across the Treasure Valley. Windows, gutters, exterior washing, solar panel cleaning, even Christmas light installation.
The problem? They had the skills and the work ethic, but no brand. No logo. No website. No online presence. Starting from absolute zero — which is actually where the best brands are built.
Brand Package
Before anything else, we built the identity. Every decision from here forward would reference this foundation.
Logo Design
Designed the Tree City Window Cleaners logo from scratch. Clean, professional, recognizable at any size — works on a business card, a truck wrap, or a website header. The tree motif ties directly to Boise's identity as the "City of Trees."
Color Palette & Typography
Established brand colors and fonts that carry across every touchpoint. The palette reflects the eco-friendly, clean, trustworthy feel — green tones for the tree/nature element, professional blues for trust and reliability. Consistent everywhere: website, social, print.
Brand Voice & Messaging
Defined how Tree City talks to customers. Friendly but professional. Local pride without being corny. Eco-conscious without being preachy. "Quality over quantity" became the north star — showing up in taglines, social posts, and how they describe their work.
Setup
With the brand locked in, we set up every platform and profile where customers might find them.
Google Business Profile
Claimed, built out, and optimized their Google Business Profile from zero. Services listed, hours set, photos uploaded, categories dialed in. This is the single most important thing for a local service business — and most skip it or do it halfway.
Social Media Profiles
Set up Facebook and Instagram with consistent branding — same logo, same bio style, same visual language. Created content templates so Thomas and Joe could post job photos that always look on-brand without thinking about it.
Directory & Citation Setup
Listed Tree City across key directories — Yelp, HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, BBB. Consistent name, address, phone everywhere. This builds the entity signals that search engines (and AI tools) use to trust and recommend a business.
Execution
The brand exists. The profiles are live. Now we build the machine that brings in customers.
Website Design & Build
Built a clean, fast, mobile-first website at treecitywindowcleaners.com. Services clearly laid out, quote form front and center, owner photos and story to build trust. The site does one thing well: converts visitors into quote requests.
Local SEO & AI Visibility
Optimized the site and profiles so Tree City shows up when people search "window cleaning Boise" — both in Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT. Structured data, service-area pages, consistent entity signals across the web.
Review System
Set up a simple process for collecting Google reviews after every job. The result: 5-star rating with real reviews from real customers in Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and Kuna. Reviews are the #1 thing that drives local service business.
